13.1 Marathon® Series Prize Money
Each 13.1® event offers Elite runners a total prize money purse of $3,500:
Overall Male: 1st - $1,000; 2nd - $500, 3rd - $250
Overall Female: 1st - $1,000; 2nd - $500, 3rd - $250
•The winners of each 13.1® event in 2011 and the 13.1® Los Angeles in 2012 will be invited to complete in the championship event - 2012 13.1® Miami Beach - and receive a complimentary registration. Other invitees will be determined by completion of a 2011 13.1® event with a qaulifying time under 1:12:00 for the men and under 1:22 for the women. Additionally, if a runner has qualifying time under 1:05 for the men and under 1:10 for the women in a non 13.1 Marathon® Series event, then they can qualify for the championship event and prize money in Miami Beach.

Offers total prize money of $29,200:
Overall Male: 1st - $13,100; 2nd - $1,000, 3rd - $500
Overall Female: 1st - $13,100; 2nd - $1,000, 3rd - $500
•Elite runners must qualify for the championship to be eligible to win the prize money. Qualification can be accomplished by winning a 13.1® event during the 2011 rotation (including the 2012 13.1® Los Angeles), of by finishing with a predetermined qualifying time.
2012 13.1 Marathon® Series Awards
There will be multiple levels of special achievement that individual athletes can attain throughout the 2012 13.1 Marathon® Series. When you have reached an achievement level process contact us to claim your award!
Complete two (2) events in the series to earn a specially designed Craft Shirt!
Complete three (3) events in the series to earch a custom rings medal with engraved cities!
Complete five (5) events in the series to earn a custom designed medal!
Complete the entire series to earn an amazing award - Entries to any 13.1 Marathon® Series event for LIFE!
Awards are based off achievement of events within calendar year 2012. Qualifying events in 2012 are:
Los Angeles - January 15 Miami Beach - March 4
New York City - March 24 Chicago - June 9
Boston - September 16 Atlanta - October 7
Dallas - October 27 Forl Lauderdale - November 11
